Tim graduated from the The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 1998, and worked in several mixed animal practices in Worcestershire before joining us in 2005. He and his wife, Ceri, have two children, three dogs and a cat. Away from work, he enjoys playing the guitar and keyboards in a local covers band, as well as walking and reading.

Morwenna

Morwenna graduated from Liverpool University in 2010, and worked at another small animal practice in the Midlands before joining us a few years later. Originally from Cornwall, she enjoys returning to the area and its beaches with her husband whenever she gets the chance. She also has two cats and a dog of her own.

Ashley graduated from Cambridge University in 2000, and after a brief foray into equine practice in Australia and mixed animal practice in Nottinghamshire, he decided to focus on small animal work. He has lived and worked in the Midlands for over a decade, and spends much of his free time taking care of his two children.

After qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1999, Ceri worked in practices in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, before joining Special Friends in 2001. Alongside her veterinary nursing work, she also does her fair share of admin in our office. She lives locally with Tim.

Before joining our team in 2010, Naomi spent several years working as a veterinary nurse at the RCSPA. Away from work, she has hand reared and fostered over 300 kittens, keeping six for herself! She also enjoys fitness training, hiking with her husband and indoor rock climbing.

Kate has been working in the veterinary profession for over 20 years, in both private and charity practices. She has a keen interest in consulting and emergency and critical care, and has two dogs and two cats of her own. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family.

Fran joined the team in 2009 and qualified as an animal nursing assistant the following year. She combines working on reception with assisting our vets and vet nurses, and has a menagerie of pets of her own, including a cat, a rabbit and a hamster. She also has eight chickens, who provide us with a generous amount of eggs!
