About Us

After spending several years working at various veterinary practices, it became apparent to us that there was a need for a veterinary clinic where animals are treated as individuals and given the best care and attention, especially if they are unwell. Equally important, we have found that communication with clients is essential for their pet's health and therefore aim to make ourselves available to discuss problems with our clients.

When a person is in hospital, it has been proved that they recover more quickly if they receive attention and mental stimulation to prevent boredom. Special Friends is a veterinary clinic with a difference - the kennels are decorated like a child's nursery with toys and pictures. The rest of the clinic is furnished in a homely style for you and your pet's comfort. In fact, we have tried in every way possible to keep our patients comfortable, mentally stimulated and happy.

Also present are experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses to ensure that your pet gets the best treatment. Most importantly of all, our aim is to give exceptional care and attention to all our patients.

Special Friends Animal Medical Centre has been established in Batchley, Redditch since 2000. We were THE FIRST ROYAL COLLEGE ACCREDITED PRACTICE IN REDDITCH which means we work to a very high standard as governed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

We have been also nominated for PetPlan's VET PRACTICE OF THE YEAR 2013, and Tim has been nominated VET OF THE YEAR 2013! We simply work hard to provide the best standard of care for your pets that we can.

We are a friendly, independent, family- run business so why not pop in and have a look round?
